For Nonprofit Spotlight #2, I wanted to talk about a foundation that I would like to volunteer at soon (after this pandemic). I learned about it a few months ago and volunteered to plant trees with them, but then the pandemic hit so I have to wait.

What is TreePeople?
- They are an environmental nonprofit that primarily works to plant trees around the LA area to fight climate change, cool the city, and clean the air.
- They provide learning resources for anyone, but also for teachers to use in their classrooms.
- They also have resources to help young students make eco clubs.
- Lastly, they work to advocate for policies to help climate change.
